This is a superb annual fashion show in Manchester, coming into it's 3rd year helping emerging fashion designers and young creatives the chance to showcase their work and be involved in a real live event.

The 2012 show was on 8th Feb at The Pitcher & The Piano, Deansgate, Manchester on Deansgate Locks

The Spring Fashion Show had its largest ever show at Pitcher & Piano with an audience of 250. 10 designers spanning from all corners of England, Manchester saw the latest from emerging fashion talent.

The audience mingled around the fashion market with stalls ranging from clothing to jewellery before making their way to the seats to watch the show, which was led by the charming presenter Jono Molloy.  

Models strutted their stuff and in the name of fashion, and full support was given towards raising funds for Oxfam - a charity dedicated to helping people around the world.

Up and coming fashion collections were showcased from designers; Fabryan, Huxton, Kelly Bull, Cross Culture Fashion, Lauren Wroe, Pretty Disturbia, Victoria Rosso, Crystal Padmore, Thom Neal and Rianna Phillips! Designer Kelly Bull commented:

‘Great show, it was really fun and exciting to be involved as one of the designers. Thank you to all the beautiful models involved and to Victoria & Clare. Great experience!"

The fashion market was throughout the event, where stall holders were able to promote their business and their key pieces for the S/S season. Mother Said I Never Should showcased their new jewellery created using antiques watches and online boutique L’Atelier showcased featured their brand new collection. There was also a selection of accessories stalls including Passion Jewellery,, Fabulous Boutique and Vintage Amours.

Our new show finale was to give  “The Best Emerging Designer Award” to one of our lucky fashion designers. This award, sponsored by online fashion boutique Fashion Pony, giving the winner a photo shoot and chance to sell a collection on the www.fashionpony.co.uk website to an international audience.
Crystal Padmore won this great new award.

We also decided to give a Runner Up Best Emerging Designer prize! The final decision was so hard to make, so we had to add another winner! The winner of the Runner Up Best Emerging Designer Award went  to Lauren Wroe. Congratulations!

Online magazine, Urban Coco have also been providing their support in sponsoring the Spring Fashion Show 2012. Laura Bartlett, Urban Coco’s director said “MASSIVE well done to everybody that was involved with the show! We had a great night!!”

The founder of the event, Victoria Rosso said ‘I’m really pleased with how the show turned out.  So far, we’ve raised over £800 for Oxfam and there’s still more to come. Everybody worked really hard and it has been a great opportunity to showcase great talent in Manchester.’
